The past few days with the crummy weather has really been the days I’m glad I keep a few spare things in my car everything from shoes, nail polish, safety pins…and much more.
5. Shoes: The selection of shoes in your “kit” could depend on the season or if you have enough room take heels and/or boots. Heels can go well with any outfit in a pinch or boots can either keep your feet dry from the rain or snow.
4. Nail Polish & Remover Wipes: It’s inevitable you’re either going to scuff a nail going out of the salon (I do this too often unfortunately) or chip up your nails after doing a little bit of housework. While remover wipes may not seem crucial it’s also a great thing to have to take ink off your fingers – dual purpose!
3. Miniatures: First Aid & Sewing Kit and Brush: Never know when you’ll need a quick band-aid (refill with clear) or sew a button on your shirt that got yanked off before heading into an important meeting – since we all know that’s the most opportune time!
2. Fashion Tape: Fashion tape comes in all sizes and widths; recently I’ve found they can also be bought in flat strips to just slip into your purse or wallet. They are great on everything from the shirt that won’t lay closed or the hem that may of accidentally dropped or torn.
1. Cloth: Towel and Blanket: For good reason would I like to mention both of these as both have saved me in a pinch. A towel is a great thing to have around in case you get stuck in rain and need to wipe yourself down, or if you spill your favorite morning java and need to wipe it up. A blanket comes in handy in the event that you end up stuck in in-climate weather such as stuck in a snow bank waiting on a tow truck to rescue you after a long day at work.
